We are happy to announce that Vinculum Ltd is now formally a Gold Partner acknowledged by Oracle in the Oracle Partner Network. This is due to our on-going relationships with the Oracle Retail line of products. This program is designed to allow select organizations such as Vinculum to create a technical alliance with Oracle in order to more effectively provide product solutions and services to each others clients. This is also a sign of continued investment in the right direction by Vinculum to improve and build expertise specific to the Oracle Retail suite of products (MOM, ORPOS- formerly 360 Commerce, Visual Merchandising Solutions ( Formerly AVT), Planning, Replenishment Optimization,  MFP, ORDM etc)and allied solutions like Ebiz, Database, Application Server, Middleware technologies truly building a complete red stack competency for our clients and partners. . Vinculum participated in the Infor Partner Meet held at Shanghai between 21st to 23rd June’08. We were one of the sponsors of the event along with leading organisations like IBM. The event witnessed an attendance of over 250 delegates from the partner community.  We had strategic discussions to establish a  business model for China and on working collaboratively to utilize a team in China to address the Chinese market and for rest of Asia  for implementation and consulting services.

We also discussed possibilities of establishing a local partner in Taiwan and Indonesia. Vinculum was represented at the event by Venkat Nott, Director Strategic Relationships and Amit Dhupkar, Regional Manager.

JDA Focus (www.jda.com/focus) was held in Las Vegas between May 18-21. We participated in the event as a Prestige Sponsor and had a booth.

The key focus of our participation was to increase awareness of our company in North America and also to highlight our partnership with JDA, our partnerships with INFOR and Optimal Advantage. To attract attention to our stall, we had I-Pod giveaways and also giveaways of pen drives. This was particularly successful in creating a stampede to our booth on May 19 and 20. We will follow up with the contacts/leads generated to highlight our offerings. Our presence was highlighted in the Solution Zone video and also during the key note address on Monday, May 18.

We were able to connect with multiple key prospects.

We have made key contacts with JDA’s management to work on integration of JDA with other products. We will have additional meetings scheduled to see how we can work with them. This is an important opportunity to leverage our strength and skills.

Vin Procure attracted a lot of attention during the show.

We talked to other vendors as well where we might be able to work together. It is early days but a couple of them sound promising.

We renewed contact with Strategix who has solutions to do real time audit on planograms and also offers a seamless link with SAP from Intactix and IKB. We are in talks with them to see how we can leverage our strengths to work together. There are some opportunities where they would like us to work with them and we are working out the details.
