(EVENT) Vinculum Participated in JDA FOCUS 2008 in Las Vegas on May 18-21
Hi,
JDA Focus (www.jda.com/focus) was held in Las Vegas between May 18-21. We participated in the event as a Prestige Sponsor and had a booth.
The key focus of our participation was to increase awareness of our company in North America and also to highlight our partnership with JDA, our partnerships with INFOR and Optimal Advantage. To attract attention to our stall, we had I-Pod giveaways and also giveaways of pen drives. This was particularly successful in creating a stampede to our booth on May 19 and 20. We will follow up with the contacts/leads generated to highlight our offerings. Our presence was highlighted in the Solution Zone video and also during the key note address on Monday, May 18.
We were able to connect with multiple key prospects.
We have made key contacts with JDA’s management to work on integration of JDA with other products. We will have additional meetings scheduled to see how we can work with them. This is an important opportunity to leverage our strength and skills.
Vin Procure attracted a lot of attention during the show.
We talked to other vendors as well where we might be able to work together. It is early days but a couple of them sound promising.
We renewed contact with Strategix who has solutions to do real time audit on planograms and also offers a seamless link with SAP from Intactix and IKB. We are in talks with them to see how we can leverage our strengths to work together. There are some opportunities where they would like us to work with them and we are working out the details.
